OVERVIEW:
CG Victory, a 501(c)3 non-profit Youth Adventure Camp now has a formal residency program for recent college graduates who have a desire to become influential Christian Business Leaders in the workforce. Spend a year with CG Victory sharpening your faith, leadership and business skills that will be a catalyst in your journey to finding your life's work, and how you can uniquely make a positive impact on the world around you.
Aspire, Build, Lead and Elevate in an intensive 12 month adventure that will launch you into your desired next step in your career. You will participate in monthly workshops led by business professionals who will equip you with the necessary building blocks to find your ultimate why, and how that translates into a future career that leverages your unique abilities. The curriculum is crafted to meet you where you are at the beginning of your professional journey and stair step you to a place that will launch you into your passions head on! Participate in resume building and networking seminars and receive coaching on first interviews to make your next move after the program concludes in August. The goal is to build you into a successful leader who can enter the working world with faith, vision and skills to build a lasting legacy.
You will hold a full time position on the CG Victory team from end of August until to May, and then transition to our Summer Leadership team from June to August. You will learn what it takes to build a summer camp ministry and practically do whatever it takes to run it successfully as a non-profit business! You will join forces with the year round staff in executing the logistics of programming, operations, recruiting, sales, marketing and more. Extensive training and experience on this team will help your resume to shine for future employers who want to see someone with skills and accomplishments that will translate to any career. This position has huge potential for growth and advancement to other positions on the full time team and even Camp Gladiator. It requires a humble, godly person who is passionate about expanding the gospel through CG Victory and the local church. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are also desired for this role as he/she will interact with a wide variety of college students and professionals. He/she should be willing to be accountable, accept feedback, take ownership of issues, and strive toward correcting them. QUALIFICATIONS:
Former CG Victory Staff preferred but not required
Undergraduate degree preferred
Experience leading youth in a camp, youth ministry in an organizational setting
Strong communication and relational skills
Well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
Works well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of accountability
Resourceful self-starter, with a can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
Passionate about the CG Victory Mission; to share the joy of Christ by laughing, loving and living adventurously.
High-energy dynamic leader that enjoys connecting relationally with others of all ages, life experiences, and backgrounds

LATE AUGUST/SEPTEMBER - MAY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
***Each resident is assigned a home base team in either sales or recruiting
Actively participate in goal setting as it pertains to recruiting /sales strategy for half-day and overnight camps
- Strongly support recruiting and or sales efforts; event research and planning, lead generation and follow up
- Understand and utilize camp management software
- Report weekly on key sales/recruiting metrics to direct manager and follow recommended action plans to hit key targets
- Screen and interview potential college counselors throughout the year to staff day and overnight camps
- Make monthly recruiting trips to college campuses to host info-sessions, participate in campus recruiting fairs, network and build relationships with alumni
- Plan & Execute summer programming logistics alongside the full time staff for overnight and day camps
JUNE- AUGUST - SUMMER LEADERSHIP TEAM OVERVIEW
From late May to mid August you will pivot to our Summer Leadership Team which is the team directly responsible for running the programming and leading the college counselor staff for our day and overnight camp programs. You will be equipped and trained to perform this role through a series of training in the spring ranging from Leadership mindset training to practical program certifications as well CPR/First Aid and Child Protection training. A sample summer schedule is below, you will be assigned to lead one of our three markets in DFW, Houston or Austin as well as lead Legends Overnight Camp.
