WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO KEEP MY CAMPER SAFE?
We know that now more than ever, any camp program demands lots of trust from you as the parent or guardian, and we do not take this responsibility lightly! CG Victory has always taken the protection of our youth very seriously, and this being our 16th summer to enter into day camp programming, we have continued to raise our standards. All parents will receive a multi-page document with detailed information on our safety protocols by the end of May, below is a summary.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP LOOK LIKE?
No matter the experience, all elements of camps should reflect our core values of fun, faith, team work, integrity, and positivity. Our camp is split up into 3 main blocks each day:
BLOCK 1: Morning Block | 9AM - 11:50AM
-
Morning Show - a time for campers to come together, focus on the theme for that day, and get an overview of what we have planned. There is a verse of the day we share and a 'flame' of the day they will discuss with their 'clan' on the field. Perseverance, faith, and trust are the Gladiator Flames that make up the Heart of a Gladiator!
-
Spirit Battle & Clan Competition - a time for campers to show their legion pride by chanting and cheering for their team, participating in variation sport games, learning about basic sports/skills, and working with a team. Campers are split into their clans: the red team Veritas or the blue team Calida. Every game counts for points!
-
Snack - Your child will get a snack break during this block and eat their snack from home.
-
Rockwall - One day during this time we will have a rockwall out at camp for your child to conquer!
BLOCK 2: Lunch & Theme Skit, Entertainment & Group Chat Time | Noon- 1:15PM
Lunch & Entertainment
-
Your child will eat their lunch with their huddle groups as well as watch our daily theme skit and entertainment! You might see your counselor get a pie in the face in a segment we call Cream Your Counselor!
Group Chat
-
Older and younger campers are split into age-appropriate large groups to hear a message on our theme 'Journey' that coincides with learning the basic Gospel principle. Campers then split up into smaller groups for 8-10 minutes to discuss the presentation, learn about the Gospel message, and get to know each other.
BLOCK 3: Water Activities & Closing Day Challenge & Awards | 1:15 - 3PM
-
Rotation Water Activities - Campers will get to go down our water slide, slip and slide, and other fun activities during this time.
-
Snack & Treat - Cool off with your snack from home under the shade and a cold treat that is typically a drink like Gatorade or a popsicle.
-
Closing & Awards - Each day starting at 2:40 campers will have one final challenge before Camper of the Day Awards.
Weather
- It’s no secret that summers in Texas can be harsh. We give campers frequent water breaks, access to shaded areas, and water games that will keep them cool in the heat. Please make sure they wear sunscreen daily and bring a water bottle!
- Camp will still take place if there is rain, however there will be a different activity schedule that will take place indoors. We closely monitor the local weather to ensure the safety of campers.
