Our Story

Ally Davidson tried out for the NBC hit show American Gladiators on her wedding day, four hours before the ceremony. Ally’s athleticism and spirit qualified her for the show and in a surprising turn of events the producers liked her story so much that they decided to do a couple’s episode and invited both Ally and Jeff to compete. After returning from their honeymoon, the couple spent four weeks in LA on a gladiator honeymoon competing on the show. Ally dominated the competition and went on to win the Grand Championship. Ally and Jeff used the winnings to start Camp Gladiator and continue to set the model and motto to Live Adventurously.

In the summer of 2009, the couple decided they wanted to start a non-profit, faith-based youth adventure camp in Austin, Texas for all athletic levels and socio-economic backgrounds. They started CG Victory with 75 youth that summer and four years later the camp has grown to thousands of youth with locations all over Texas.

Jeff and Ally’s life mission statement is to share the joy of Christ by laughing, loving, and living adventurously, which is also the mission of CG Victory!

CG Victory is more than just another camp, it is an experience. By bringing CG Victory to a city near you, your child can now experience the same level of adventure and camaraderie as one of the expensive overnight camps without the price tag. The adventure begins on Monday morning when campers are divided into clans: Veritas and Calida. For the remainder of the week, campers compete in all sorts of fun, non-conventional games.

CG Victory culminates at the end of the week with a series of challenges where they get a chance to show off skills developed throughout the week and take part in an obstacle course. Just a few of the activities include: rock climbing, dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, tug-of-war, relay races, obstacle courses and much more. CG Victory is a faith based camp and we believe that what you do in life echoes for eternity. At our camp this summer, thousands of children will learn what it means to have the heart of a gladiator.
